
Universal Orlando Lays Off Theme Park Employees Following Reopening
Just weeks after opening for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic, Universal Orlando has announced that it would need to lay off some of its theme park employees.
Universal Orlando Resort in Florida is a dynamic entertainment destination comprising two theme parks - Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure. Known for immersive lands like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Marvel Super Hero Island, it offers cutting-edge rides, shows, and attractions. The resort also includes Volcano Bay, a water theme park, and CityWalk, a nightlife district, offering a comprehensive entertainment experience for all ages.

It feels like only yesterday that we were invited to “ride the movies” for the very first time. Believe it or not, it has already been 30 years since our beloved Universal Studios Florida opened its gates to the general public on June 7th, 1990.
