Blackpool Pleasure Beach has announced plans to reopen the amusement park on the 4th of July 2020, with updated policies for the safety of guests.

All guests planning on visiting the park must book in advance on the Blackpool Pleasure Beach website, where a new e-ticketing system will allow guests to enter the park instantly after arriving.

Polices & procedures

  • The introduction of a range of new, more frequent, and enhanced deep cleaning measures across our park, rides, and attractions.
  • New hand sanitasion facilities provided.
  • Daily temperature testing of the Pleasure Beach Team.
  • Additional staff called “Ambassadors” will answer any guest questions.
  • New social distancing measures in queue lines around the park.
  • A dedicated plan for each ride to enable social distancing between groups.
  • Directional arrows along walkways.
  • Some rides may require you to wear a face covering. You may bring these with you, or purchase them at the park.
  • Some rides may have empty seats between guests.
  • All payments must be contactless.
  • Eateries will be open. However, a new food ordering system will be in place for orders to be made from a mobile phone and collected at a specified time and location.
  • Photo-ops and meet-and-greets have been modified or suspended.
