New details and visuals for the Epic Universe theme park coming to Universal Orlando have been released – and we’re excited.

Since the park was first announced in 2019, theme park fans have been waiting patiently for new updates. Today, Universal has teased the five lands that will make up the brand-new theme park when it opens in 2025.

Celestial Park will be an astronomical-themed area boasting Starfall Racers, a dual-launch coaster where you ride through the sky, and Constellation Carousel as the centerpiece.

This land will also be the main area of Epic Universe – similar to Main Street, USA at Disney World – with multiple portals connecting park guests to other lands.

How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk will be themed after the beloved movies, featuring Vikings and plenty of adventure. And yes, there will be flying dragons.

Dark Universe is perhaps the most unique concept yet. This land is where Universal’s classic monsters are reimagined. Guests will encounter Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s experiments and explore a dark underworld where monsters lurk.

It wouldn’t be Universal without the inclusion of Harry Potter. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will feature glimpses of 1920s Paris from Fantastic Beasts and the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter movies.

Then there’s the highly-anticipated Super Nintendo World, an interactive, colorful world home to the characters from the video games. There will be three main rides here: Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge, Yoshi's Adventure, and Donkey Kong: Mine Cart Madness.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel is one of three new hotels opening at Universal Orlando in 2025.

The theme park will also feature the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a third new hotel opening alongside the Stella Nova and Terra Luna resorts. This 500-room resort will sit at the very back of the park with a dedicated entrance for hotel guests.

The park will also be home to plenty of restaurants and merchandise locations. Atlantic, described by Universal as a “full-service, surf and turf restaurant,” will be set inside a Victorian aquarium boasting panoramic views of Celestial Park.

Those looking to enjoy authentic Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine will be able to head to The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant. Or, quick service options include a hearty barbecue at The Oak & Star Tavern and a relaxed spot called Pizza Moon.

Nintendo Super Star Store will be the standout merchandise location in the park, alongside  Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets for a candy fix.

It’s safe to say that Universal’s announcement has gotten fans incredibly excited – take a look for yourself…
