Alright, you’ve tried Dole Whip and you fell in love. You’ve gone classic, swirl, float… you’ve ever gone as far as to jump on board with Dole Whip Nachos, a whole never level of refreshing indulgence. But have you ever had… wait for it… Dole Whip Beer?!?! Yup, you read that right! And if you’re like us, you can’t wait to get your hands on one of these frosty-n-fruity brews!

Brewed using actual Dole Whip mix, pineapple puree, and milk sugar, this beer tastes just like the iconic pineapple soft serve served at Disney. This beer is a creamy, dreamy sour that isn’t too sweet or tart, it’s just the right balance and is packed with pineapple goodness!

Massive Success

On August 12th, 2020, First Magnitude Brewing Company officially announced the release of their newest Flavors of Summer Series, “Dole Whip Sour” and was made available for online pick-up exclusively at First Magnitude Brewing Company in Gainesville, Florida. The only thing is, it sold out completely within a mere three days of its initial release.

Now, as you may be aware, First Magnitude Brewing Company was not the first Florida brewing company to try their hands at brewing a beer inspired by Disney’s infamous Dole Whip. In fact, this past June, Hidden Springs Ale Works in Tampa, Florida, created an inspired “The Enchanted Tiki Room” beer.

Too Bad, Sold Out, So Sad

Unfortunately, you can no longer get your hands on either First Magnitude Brewing Company’s Dole Whip Sour or Hidden Springs Ale Works’ The Enchanted Tiki Room. We promise to keep our ears pressed firmly to the keg for any stirrings of their return and will be sure to report back when we do!

Oh, The Possibilities!

Until then, you have a few choices! You can head on over to SeaWorld Orlando’s Craft Beer Festival, offering guests access to more than 100 craft brews in a modified, limited-capacity setting. Or, you can treat your palate to something special from one of your local breweries. However, if you’re feeling ultra-creative, try one of our theme park-inspired recipes.
