The interwebs can become a real theme park traffic jam of Disney and Universal news, updates, merchandise… you name it! Don’t get us wrong, we’re obsessed too! But every now and again, a special project will come along that just seems to flip the script. Enter, Yingtan Fantawild Park.

Now, we have just received word that Fantawild Holdings Inc. has officially begun construction on Yingtan Fantawild Park in Yingtan, Jiangxi.

Fantawild held a ceremony to mark the launch of construction on the attraction on July 29th, 2020. Several higher-ups were in attendance, included senior officials, representatives of Fantawild, and members of the press.

Fantawild has stated that investment for the resort will surpass 3 billion RMB or $432 million.

Fantawild Oriental Heritage anticipates more than 3 million visitors each year.

The resort will integrate a large-scale theme park entitled Fantawild Oriental Heritage. This unique, family-friendly park will be a part of Fantawild’s ‘Beautiful China Trilogy’.

Fantawild Oriental Heritage will take a deep dive into 5,000 years of Chinese history and culture while incorporating innovative technology to create immersive and interactive attractions.

The theme park will play host to a bevvy of outdoor and indoor rides and attractions, showcasing myths, legends, historical stories and noteworthy individuals.

  • ‘Marvels of Chinese Culture’ – presenting the country’s culture across 5,000 years.
  • ‘Let’s Fly’ – a flight simulation taking guests to picturesque locations in China.
  • ‘The Legend of Nüwa’ – a journey to the ancient world to help the goddess Nüwa.
  • ‘Enter Taoism’ – a stage performance based on a local Taoist architectural complex.
  • ‘Lady Meng Jiang’ – a classic love story and folk tale
  • ‘Bridge to Love’ – takes visitors to the starry skies
  • ‘Forest Times’ – an indoor rafting ride based on Fantawild’s movie Fantastica.
  • ‘Boonie Bears Theater’ – head out on an adventure to the forest where they meet cute characters from the popular animated show Boonie Bears.
