Lookout Halloween Horror Nights, Busch Gardens Tampa is planning to present a physically distant Howl-O-Scream for 2020.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has officially announced that its fall tradition, the annual Halloween event, Howl-O-Scream, will return for its 21st anniversary. However, this year will differ from previous events.

The artistic team behind the event has consulted with medical specialists and modified this year’s event to place a much-needed emphasis on physical distance, with a focus on open-air scare zones and entertainment, as well as, enhanced health and safety measures. Have no fear, this event promises to be as scary as ever.

Capacity

Capacity will be considerably limited offer plenty of open space, and guests will experience themed open-air scare zones throughout the park, in addition to the offering of roller coasters at night. While not specifically confirmed, it appears that there will not be any haunted houses at this year’s modified event, based on the official website.

Fiends

The fan-favourite show, “Fiends,” starring Dr Freakenstein and his frightful entourage, will perform on its largest stage ever for outdoor performances on the Festival Field Stage. Bench seating will be arranged in a physically-distant manner to offer plenty of space for a limited number of guests to enjoy each performance.

Tickets

Howl-O-Scream is a separately ticketed event, offered on 18 nights every Friday-Sunday from Sept. 25 – Nov. 1. Prices for admission start at $29.99, and guests are strongly encouraged to make reservations early, as reservations are required and space is limited. In addition, protective face coverings are required in order to attend.
