Another major resort has been announced for Qiddiya City: Aquarabia, a water theme park spanning a whopping 250,000m2. Aquarabia joins an already impressive lineup that includes a Six Flags theme park, Dragon Ball Z resort, a new Formula One track, and plenty more.
Once complete, this Saudi Arabia water park will break all kinds of records. Not only will it feature the world's tallest water coaster and tallest water slide, but it will also boast the world’s longest mat racer and the first underwater adventure ride featuring fully submersible vehicles.
Aquarabia Lands and Attractions
Aquarabia will be Saudi Arabia’s first water theme park, home to eight lands and 22 rides and attractions.
Camel Rock is the park icon and main area of Aquarabia. The rides here are Jamal Joon – a mat racing water slide with a 22m drop – Speedy Jamezales, Camel Racers, and a Lazy Camel River.
Dhub Grotto is a family-friendly area with small slides, situated near the temperature-regulated cabanas, while Wave Wadi contains a giant wave pool and a 600m white water rafting tube ride.
The Den is a private zone for ladies and children with dining options and small slides ZipZapZoom and SplishSplashSploosh. On the other hand, Arabian Peak will offer an adults-only retreat with a private pool.
Adventure seekers will have two areas to explore. Viper Canyon will feature drop ride Hyper Viper, the standout Slithereel, and underwater adventure Aquaticar. Herding Grounds will be home to an extreme water sports zone with whitewater rafting, kayaking, canyoneering, free solo climbing, and cliff jumping.
Last, but certainly not least, Surftopia will be a surf lagoon area featuring Saudi Arabia’s first surf pool.
Aquarabia is part of Saudi Arabia's mega-tourism project, Qiddiya City. The water park and Six Flags theme park will be the first to open among all the resorts in 2025.
