After weeks of teasing that a mega summer announcement was on the way, Universal Orlando has released details of three new shows hitting the parks this year.

Universal might be gearing up for the grand opening of Epic Universe in 2025, but that doesn't mean we have to wait until next year for new shows and experiences. As part of these summer announcements, Universal also shared that DreamWorks Land will open in June.

Universal Mega Movie Parade

From 3rd July, the Universal Mega Movie Parade will debut at Universal Studios Florida. It will celebrate popular movies such as E.T., Jaws, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, and a selection of Illumination and DreamWorks animations.

This will be Universal's largest daytime parade ever, featuring 100 performers and 13 floats (including a 16-foot Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and almost-lifesize Raptors.)

CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular

Rumours of a new lagoon show at Universal Studios Florida have been floating around for months, and Universal has finally confirmed that CineSational will be the latest nighttime spectacular.

The show will debut on 14th June and will "feature 228 fountains that reach heights up to 131 feet, incredible 4K projection mapping, an original composition featuring newly arranged scores meticulously crafted to each scene, and more than 600 drones..."

The show will contain SO many IPs: Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, Jurassic World, Jaws, Shrek, Universal Monsters, Transformers, How to Train Your Dragon, E.T., Fast and Furious, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Minions, The Mummy, and King Kong.

Hogwarts Always

Over in Islands of Adventure, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade will debut Hogwarts Always on select nights from 14th June

This new castle projection show transports guests through “iconic moments of a school year at Hogwarts” like shopping in Diagon Alley, riding the Hogwarts Express, and celebrating the House Cup winner, amongst other scenes. The spectacular will feature four unique endings based on each of the houses.

Universal has not confirmed the end date for these shows, though we imagine them to be long-running features in the parks for the foreseeable future.
