Universal Hollywood May 2021 Tips
- When are the best times to go this month to avoid crowds? Since capacity will be limited, you likely will not have to worry about crowds. However, lines may still be relatively long due to the increased amount of time it takes to clean and sanitize ride vehicles in between use.
- When is the best time of day to visit the park? Right after the park opening and a few hours before closing. If you want to take a break, the middle of the day is the best time for a nap at your hotel.
- What will the weather be like? The weather seems like it will be surprisingly cool in Los Angeles this month. The highest temperature will be on the first day of the month, hitting only 86 degrees. The rest of the month will range from 56 degrees to about 79. We recommend that you pack a light jacket. There is no prediction for rain just yet, but if you want to bring a waterproof coat just in case. We do not think it will be a bad idea. Even on the sunniest of days, a waterproof coat on Jurassic World can come in handy.
- Should I get an Express Pass? You likely won’t need one this month.
- Save your cash and budget accordingly.
- Eat at off-times: Eat your meals from 10 am-11:30 am, 3-4 pm, and 8-10 pm to avoid crowds. Make sure the restaurant you have in mind is open during these times as well. You can do this by using the Universal Studios Hollywood App. We also highly recommend using mobile orders.
- Bring your own food/snacks/water in your park bag to save money.
