Need a shot to help perk up your Monday? How about this, my caffeine friends: we are less than one month away from National Coffee Day! Yes, that’s right… even coffee has an official day now –September 29th. If you are a fan of Java and a lover of all things Disney, you’ve stumbled into the right blog article. Today we are going to take a deep and delicious dive into the Best Coffee Ground and Found at Walt Disney World! So, grab a spoonful of sugar and let’s get down with the grounds!

Magic Kingdom

Out of 70 dining locations in Magic Kingdom, 23 of them serve coffee! So, who here likes the Starbucks on Main Street, U.S.A.? Oh, I can hear the boos and hisses from all of you local café-dwellers from a thousand miles away! But before you get your percolators in a pinch, allow me to explain! When you waltz into a Starbucks, you know what you’re going to get. Their product is pretty darn consistent, if not uneventful. And while there is a decent selection, most Starbucks frequenters stick to the same order, time after time after time. In other words, there will be no surprises here. And sometimes, that is what you need before you perk up before a long day in the parks – a familiar standard.

There is one negative here, other than the fact that you’re not taking advantage of Walt Disney World’s most unique coffee offerings – the lines! I have never been to a Starbucks at Walt Disney World and have not waited at least twenty minutes for my beverage. I guess you can chalk that up to their large and loyal fanbase! Heck, they must be doing something right.

Here is a list of 23 locations that serve coffee and coffee-infused products in Magic Kingdom Park:

Animal Kingdom

Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company has become an inside joke in our house because every time we stay at a Walt Disney World Resort, we bring the extra packs of Joffrey’s home and store them as our “emergency” backup cup of joe for when we are running low on our regular local blend. All kidding aside, due to the consistency of Joffrey’s branding within Disney hotels, their name has become synonymous with Walt Disney World. But in order to have one of the best brews on the property, you’re going to have to change out of your pyjamas and head out into the jungle!

Tucked away at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park sits Nomad Lounge & Cocktail Bar, one of the most chill locations in the park. Located next to Tiffins Restaurant, (the best dining experience in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park) Nomad Lounge invites globetrotters to stake a claim in their own wanderlust! Here, you can find festive banners hanging high above, each asking a distinct question about travelling the world and the thrill of discovery. In addition to high-theming, you will uncover a French Press of 100% Ethiopian single-origin coffee by Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company for only $9.00 per pot. This fruity and floral blend showcases subtle notes of blueberry and lemon. And unlike Starbucks, you can walk in, grab a couch, relax under the outdoor patio, and stay a while. Who brew?!

I’ve worked in several local and mainstream coffee shops throughout the years and know a little too much about the world of Java. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised to find just how much Walt Disney World have levelled up their coffee game over the years! So, next time you’re there, be sure to sample your way around their vast and varied selection. Just, make sure you don’t try too many in one day!
