Merlin Entertainments has announced that the Zoo at Chessington World of Adventures will reopen on the 18th of June 2020, with the Theme Park’s reopening planned for the 4th of July.

For the safety of guests, there will be an introduction of new hygiene and safety measures across the resort. Chessington has reduced the capacity of the resort, therefore to guarantee entry, you must book online.

Contactless temperature checks are an entry requirement and, all guests must wear a face mask when visiting, which they can bring from home or purchase at the resort. Anyone who has a temperature higher than 37.8°C, along with their household, will not be permitted entry.

To minimize the contact between guests: empty rows and empty seats will be between you and others on rides. Interactive areas such as playgrounds will be unavailable or modified. Some Indoor attractions will be unavailable and, clear markers will be in place to identify two-meter gaps between guests.

Hand sanitiser will be readily available throughout the resort. Guests will need to sanitise their hands before and after riding an attraction.
