DVC Is Now Opening Villas, Cabins, and Bungalows to Guests for Tours

If we haven’t mentioned it lately, we absolutely adore Disney Vacation Club. Despite the bad reputation classic timeshares receive, we actually think Disney does a decent job of breaking from the mould and turning their product into a steal or dare we say… investment. If you are on the cusp of joining the Disney-elite, you may find it helpful to learn that DVC is now opening bungalows, cabins, and villas to guests for a tour.

It is no secret that with staffing reduced and minimal occupancy in several DVC resort hotels at an all-time low, DVC has been forced to get creative. No longer can they rely on kiosks in the theme parks, resorts and Disney Springs to do the job. Previously, due to high occupancy, tours were held at models of the rooms. However, that has since changed! Now, guests are welcome to come visit a DVC Open House at select resorts! This is exciting news, as it allows guests unprecedented access to not models, but the actual rooms themselves at each resort!

If you’re staying at one of the Resorts listed below, you can stop by an Open House at your Resort from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday—with no need to call in advance. Important Information and Disclosures

Savings are based on a cash purchase of Membership, including closing costs and annual dues, with enough points for a 7-night stay at the Home Resort purchased, every year for the Membership term, compared with renting the same accommodations in the same season at the non-discounted rental rate plus tax. Assumes annual inflation of 4.3% in the rental rate and 4.7% in Annual Dues. Savings begin 6 to 12 years after purchase and may add up to 50% over the Membership term. Prices, rates, dues and other terms may change in ways that could adversely affect the savings.
