Get ready to take a look inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for the very first time – spoilers ahead!

During the musical second episode of We Call It Imagineering, Disney shared a preview inside the former Splash Mountain attraction. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on 28th June at Walt Disney World and later in 2024 at Disneyland.

Inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

The episode featured Grammy-winning artist and composer PJ Morton, who penned some of the music for the ride. He was joined by Global Music Executive Tricia Holloway to hear his song, Special Spice, on the attraction for the very first time.

Disney shared a short clip of this heartwarming moment on social media.

Of course, those with a keen eye will be able to spot some of the incredible scenery in the background. The final part of the ride, which follows the iconic Splash Mountain plunge, features a whole host of Bayou residents – including some of the critters revealed earlier this year and Tiana, Princess Charlotte, and Louis.

In the full episode, we also catch a glimpse of Tiana in her adventure outfit. She stands to the left of the lift hill and waves as guests pass her by. There’s also a (very brief) shot of PJ Morton and Tricia Holloway on the final drop, where yellow and purple Mardi Gras lighting has been added.

But that’s not all that was revealed in this episode of We Call It Imagineering. Disney also previewed some of the songs that will be featured in the new version of Country Bear Jamboree when it reopens later this year.
