After a much-needed refurbishment, the new Fort Wilderness Cabins are getting ready to open this summer at Walt Disney World.

Disney has released a video teasing the cabins as part of their Details We Dig series. The video explores the inside of the new cabins, showcasing the fold-down sofa bed in action, plus plenty of magical details throughout the accommodation.

The cabins will open in stages, with the first lot available from the 1st July, 2024.

The Magic Is in the Details

The one-bedroom cabin contains a double bed and a set of bunk beds in the bedroom, plus a fold-down double bed in the living area and a family bathroom. Guests can cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen, or unwind on the private patio space after a long day of exploring the parks.

The cabins are peppered with references to classic Disney shorts, like a painting containing the trailer from Mickey’s Trailer, while there are also plenty of nods to Chip ‘n Dale throughout the decor.
