Despite the ever-growing termination rumours for Disney Vacation Club’s Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge at Walt Disney World, a new permit was filed this morning listing the site of the construction: 4500 Big Pine Road. As you will see below, the permit records “General Construction” as the work description. In other words, we do not know exactly when the construction will take place or what it will entail.

Now, does this mean that the Reflections A Disney Lakeside Lodge is a-go? Who is to say? After all, the Disney Parks Blog from August 2019 outlining the D23 Expo (including plans for the new resort) has been edited to remove mention of the new Disney Vacation Club resort.

You cannot blame conspiracy theorists. This is not the first time Disney has changed announcement posts while no one was looking.

Now, Disney has not officially announced the status of the Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lounge.
