Please tell me you are as excited about “The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast” attraction coming to Tokyo Disneyland as I am! If you have yet to see the concept art or sneak peeks, take this time to check it out. It looks just absolutely spellbinding if you ask us!

According to Attractions Magazine:

“New Fantasyland,” a new themed area that will host this new attraction and the indoor Fantasyland Forest Theatre. Guests will be able to immerse themselves in the world of “Beauty and the Beast” as they stroll through Belle’s village, which includes Maurice’s Cottage, Gaston’s fountain, restaurants and shops. Standing high above the land will be Beauty and the Beast Castle, which houses Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, an attraction where guests will join a musical adventure in bowl-like vehicles that dance to the rhythm of the music from the animated film. Deeper in the forest, guests will find the Fantasyland Forest Theatre, the first full-scale indoor theatre at Tokyo Disneyland.

The New Fantasyland expansion featuring “The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast” was set to make its debut on April 15th, 2020. However, we all know how that turned out. #2020, am I right? This year has been a real rollercoaster… theme park pun intended.

But word around the parks is the groundbreaking new E-ticket attraction may be making its unveiling soon, according to the Tokyo Disney Resort's official website.

Happy 15 is a privilege of Guests at the Disney Hotels. Think, Extra Magic Hours at Walt Disney World. Guests may enter Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea 15 minutes early to experience the park’s most popular attractions before the general public.

Presently, the program is halted due to modified operations due to COVID-19. However, according to the official Tokyo Disney Resort website, the program is scheduled to return on October 1st, 2020.

If you check out the site, you will find that Toy Story Mania and Soaring: Fantastic Flight are listed as participants for Tokyo DisneySea. If you scroll to view Tokyo Disneyland, you’ll notice that only one single attraction is listed, The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast.

Construction on Tokyo Disneyland Resort’s New Fantasyland is complete, according to The Oriental Land Company’s financial reports. However, they have stated previously that an opening date has yet to be chosen and will be established upon operations and conditions at the park post-reopening.

If we had to speculate, we’d say that The Oriental Land Company is set to uncover the expansion to Happy 15 Guests for a soft opening.

It is important to note that these speculations are based on rumours. The Oriental Land Company has yet to officially release any statement on New Fantasyland since Tokyo Disneyland Resort has reopened. One reputable theme park news source posed the question of whether or not this could be “a mistake on the site developer’s part, as the attraction was there before the park closure. The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast was always planned to be a Happy 15 attraction, after all.”
