Many guests have various circumstances regarding their ability to wear face coverings, which has led Universal Orlando Resort to update its health and safety policies. As of yesterday, Universal Orlando officially adjusted its face-covering policy, encouraging guests who have a disability that inhibits them from wearing a face-covering to speak to a Guest Services Coordinator. The Guest Services Coordinator will inform them of a new alternate accommodation.

Guests who have disabilities that prevent them from wearing face coverings will be required to wear face shields instead.

In addition, a white checkered wristband will be given to Guests requesting accommodation.

Face shields are not permitted on specified attractions, and guests will have to switch to a face covering for those experiences.

Universal will provide information about which attractions will require guests to change face coverings and more information that pertains to their individual situations when they visit Guest Services.
