Brimming with an overabundance of hip-to-the-minute theatrical technology, The Bourne Stuntacular entered into technical rehearsals on June 14th, 2020, with no official opening in sight. However, as of today, Universal Studios Orlando announced via Twitter that they will host a virtual sneak peek of the Bourne Stuntacular on June 29th, just one day prior to their grand opening.
The exclusive sneak peek will feature special guests from the Bourne film franchise, a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to bring the show to life, as well as a preview of the highly touted production show itself. Guests will be afforded a rare opportunity to view the preview on the Universal Orlando YouTube Channel at 7:00 p.m. EST. In addition, fans are encouraged to follow along on Universal Orlando’s Twitter and Instagram for exclusive highlights.
The Bourne Stuntacular is based on the four-decade-old franchise, currently containing 15 novels, 5 films, and a television series. Produced in conjunction with Action Horizon Stunts, the production follows Jason Bourne as he is pursued by sinister characters across three continents, while chase scenes, fistfights, and acrobatics abound. An immense LED screen high-tech props, practical effects, and a talented cast of characters round out this groundbreaking production. Unlike its predecessor, Terminator 2: 3D, which only included live actors to bookend the production, The Bourne Stuntacular includes live actors throughout the entire performance.
