Heading to Universal Orlando this summer? There’s nothing better than settling in for an epic nighttime show after spending a day in the parks.

Luckily, Universal has two new brilliant offerings to feast your eyes upon. Last night, June 14, Universal debuted two shows: Cinesational and Hogwarts Always

Cinesational: A Symphonic Spectacular

If you’re a music lover, make sure you check out Cinesational in the lagoon area of Universal Studios Florida. The 22-minute show features a stellar mix of movie soundtracks from the likes of How to Train Your Dragon, E.T., and Jaws

This nighttime entertainment is one of Universal’s most technically demanding yet; it involves 228 fountains soaring to 131 feet, plus 4K projection mapping, and more than 600 drones. The reception to Cinesational has been incredibly popular – check out a sneak peek of the show for yourself.

Hogwarts Always

Harry Potter fans will not want to miss Hogwarts Always, the new show inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade.

This nighttime projection show sees Hogwarts Castle illuminated in a myriad of colours as a magical soundtrack plays. Park guests will go on a journey through the year at Hogwarts, from shopping in Diagon Alley and sitting beneath the sorting hat to playing a mean game of Quidditch.

The highlight of this show is, without a doubt, the surprise ending. Hogwarts Always culminates with one of the four houses - Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff – winning the House Cup. The castle is then lit up in the house colours in the show’s final moments.

These shows will run on selected days throughout the summer – we recommend getting to the designated watching area around 20-30 minutes before the performance starts. Keep checking the Universal Orlando app for the correct times during your visit.
