Universal Orlando Resort officially announced that its world-renowned water theme park, Universal’s Volcano Bay, will begin a seasonal closure starting November 2nd. It is projected to last roughly four months.

Reopening is currently planned for on or before March 1, 2021.

The closure will allow for annual maintenance on a plethora of attractions and areas of the park at the same time.

The park officially reopened to guests on June 5, 2020, post the unprecedented COVID-19 closure.

If you purchased a ticket to visit Universal’s Volcano Bay throughout this timeframe, please note that Universal is working with guests to rectify this inconvenience, as well as those with Annual Passes affected by this closure. If you need assistance, you can visit Guest Services at Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure or call (877) 801-9720, and continue to check UniversalOrlando.com for updates.
