Walt Disney World is about to pack a lot of punch with the unveiling of a new flagship merchandise location! That’s right, MouseGears will reopen this summer as Creations Shop at EPCOT!

The Goal

Recently, EPCOT revealed a new fountain, flags, lighting and music! Now, Creations Shop (formerly MouseGears) makes its way to the stage, marking an important milestone in the park's ongoing transformation.

According to Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley, “the goal of the Creations Shop is to be an experience worthy of the park’s vision and tradition.”

The Aesthetics

Creations Shop features a bold, sleek design that creates a perfect showcase for the rich variety of items that guests will find as part of their EPCOT experience.

The environment will highlight large walls that will permit sunlight to flood in, keeping guests in touch with the outdoors while shopping indoors!

The new shop will also present a few fun throwbacks to the park’s past by implementing familiar colours, materials and light to the space.

Pictured in the concept art provided by Disney Parks Blog, you will see a mural of Mickey Mouse beside one of the shop’s walls, as well as several homages throughout the space, including large, “dynamic murals and new artist expressions that showcase the global, contemporary icon that Mickey has become for generations around the world.”

Merchandising, Merchandising

As for what merch you will find at Creations Shop, you can expect to find products that extend Disney storytelling, while inspiring guests to explore their own expressiveness and creativity.

Club Cool Just Got Cooler

Adjacent to Creations Shop will be a rejuvenated Club Cool Hosted by Coca-Cola, also currently scheduled to open this summer. Not only will this fan-favorite experience be making a comeback but it will also present a bit of new magic to bring the global experience of Coca-Cola to life.

And – yes – you will still be invited to explore tasty beverages from around the world!

These fun and energetic locations will continue the reimagining of what will soon be a new neighbourhood at the centre of the park, entitled World Celebration.
