Major details for this year's EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival have been revealed! The festival, presented by CORKCICLE, will take place at Walt Disney World between 29th August and 23rd November, 2024.

Fans have been quick to point out that this is significantly shorter than in previous years when the festival started as early as mid-July – meaning EPCOT will be festival-free for most of the summer. Disney hasn't shared a reason for this, but has revealed a whole host of exciting details for this year’s lineup instead…

Global Marketplaces

The Global Marketplaces are the highlight of EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival – after all, this is one of the best times to visit Walt Disney World if you're a foodie.

The full menu will be revealed closer to the starting date but Disney has teased a return of the decadent waffles from the Belgium Global Marketplace and a zingy Passionfruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts from Hawai’i.

Emile’s Fromage Montage also returns for EPCOT Food and Wine Festival 2024. This allows guests to sample a variety of different cheeses from a select number of Global Marketplaces. After purchasing five cheese dishes (and collecting a stamp from each) guests can take the festival passport to the specified location for a FREE specialty item.

Guests can also head out on a scavenger hunt around World Showcase. Pick up a map from Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak and wander between the pavilions while hunting out the little chef.

Exclusive Merchandise

It wouldn’t be an EPCOT festival without a handful of exclusive merchandise. Many of the items are Ratatouille-themed, though everybody’s favourite purple dragon, Figment, will feature on a CORKCICLE bottle and a fun Loungefly backpack.

Additionally, Disney has teased that the Eat to the Beat Concert Series will return in 2024. The lineup will be revealed closer to the time, so stay up to date with Themepark+ for the latest updates.
