The Magic Kingdom will, once again, be home to a bumper Fourth of July party. Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will illuminate the park after dark.

At the same time, a fireworks display will take place over the Seven Seas Lagoon near the Magic Kingdom Resort Area hotels. This show will take place on 3rd and 4th July at 9:20 pm.

For those inside the park, a live DJ dance party will be held in front of Cinderella Castle and throughout the park during extended park hours. This is only available to Deluxe Resort guests on July 3rd from 11pm to 1am.

Fourth of July at EPCOT

Over in EPCOT, the Independence Day celebrations will continue. An exclusive patriotic fireworks display, The Heartbeat of Freedom, will follow Luminous: The Symphony of Us on 4th July at 9 pm.

During the day, guests will be able to meet Disney characters dressed in their “Spirit of ’76” attire at The American Adventure. Meanwhile, Spaceship Earth will glow in red, white, and blue at night. This all-American illumination will be visible throughout the newly renovated World Celebration area.

NB: Disney has removed any mention of extended opening hours on July 4th, as well as a showing of The Heartbeat of Freedom on 3rd July. The dates and times in this article have been updated to reflect this.
