In case you missed it, today is the official deadline for Annual pass holders who wish to cancel their Walt Disney World Annual Pass and receive a refund.

As toy may have heard, throughout this process, guests have suffered extremely long wait times, as well as have struggled with long wait times, disconnected phone lines, as well as, dropped calls and misinformation.

In response to these frustrations, Disney has made a recent update to their Annual Passholder “Know Before You Go” page. These updates reveal that the phone lines for V.I.PASSHOLDER Support remain open past midnight tonight (August 11th 2020). But, beware! It is essential that you get in the phone queue by midnight (ET). Provided that you are in the queue, a Cast member will attend to your call… eventually.

How to take action:

  • If you have already elected to cancel your pass(es), this will be automatically processed for your pass(es). You do not need to take any further action.
  • If you have not selected any option (no action) and would like to select this option to cancel your pass(es), please refer to the email from Disney Destinations on July 14, 2020, and use the personalized link available through August 11, 2020. Or, you may contact V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277. We appreciate your patience as we answer all inquiries.
  • If you previously took action to elect to continue with your pass(es) and now would like to cancel your pass(es), please call V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277. If you are in the V.I.PASSHOLDER Support phone queue by midnight Eastern Time on August 11, please stay on the line and your call will be handled by one of our Cast Members. If you have further questions, concerns or unique circumstances, now or after August 11, please contact V.I.PASSHOLDER Support for assistance. We appreciate your patience as we answer all inquiries.
  • Please note that the V.I.PASSHOLDER Support phone line is not able to provide a specific refund amount since each pass circumstance is unique and based on factors such as new or renewal, down payment amount, refunds to date, activation dates, etc.

Passholders looking to cancel their passes may utilize the personalized link in the email from Disney Destinations on July 14, 2020, or call V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277 if paid in full or (888) 701-4100 (Option 3) if on the Monthly Payment Plan by midnight tonight.

Beginning tomorrow, August 12th, 2020, Passholders who selected to cancel their pass will no longer be able to use it for entry to the parks.

Refunds to the original form of payment can be expected by mid-to-late September 2020. However, refunds may take up to an additional month to receive if the original form of payment is not available.
