Disneyland has announced the reopening date for the Haunted Mansion. The attraction closed for a queue renovation in January and will reopen for its annual Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay on 29th July.

Disney shared the news on their social media channels – you can view the announcement below.

The Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay takes place every year at Disneyland (although it usually starts much later in the festive season). The Pumpkin King Jack Skellington covers the Haunted Mansion in festive decor, while Sally, Oogie Boogie, and other characters from the movie join him inside to welcome guests.

Haunted Mansion Holiday Virtual Queue Details

Disneyland previously announced that the virtual queue system will be in place once the attraction reopens as the new area is not yet complete. No standby queue will be offered so guests must book a time slot on the Disneyland app.

Boarding groups will be released twice a day: 7am and 12pm. Only guests with a valid Disneyland Park reservation will be able to join the virtual queue at 7am, while the 12pm drop is open to all guests (including ones at Disney California Adventure with a valid Park Hopper ticket).
