Ooh-bi-doo, do we have some news for you-u-u-u… The return of Jungle Book Jive, previously scheduled to make its way to Disneyland Paris on August 22, 2020, has officially been delayed.

According to various reputable sources, two Disneyland Paris Cast Members have tested positive for COVID-19. Even though the Cast Members have been sent home, all other potentially affected Cast Members have been sent home to self-quarantine for fourteen days! Being as this includes the entire performing company of Jungle Book Jive, it can be assumed that the show may not celebrate its debut after all. Or, at least not for another three to four weeks, at least.

The delay of Jungle Book Jive is not just monkey business for fans of the beloved musical experience… we’re fairly certain Disneyland Paris isn’t thrilled either. It is believed that its return was partly due to helping spring boost Walt Disney Studio Park’s much-needed attendance.

The Jungle Book Jive originally that premiered on June 30th, 2019 as part of a promotional event titled “The Lion King & Jungle Festival”. The park recycled the “Dreams of Adventure” float from its former daytime parade, Disney Magic on Parade, which ran until early 2017, at which point it was replaced by Disney Stars on Parade.

The show originally travelled all across the park, inviting guests to sing along in front of Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant with iconic Characters including Baloo and King Louie.

A modified stage was set up inside the Lights, Camera, Action!: Extreme Stunt Show in preparation for the show’s new location debut.

Disneyland Paris is still rumoured to temporarily close, despite Disneyland Paris’ push-back regarding the speculation.
