Knott’s Berry Farm is finally reopening for California residents this month! Here are Knott’s Berry Farm May 2021 Tips for reopening!

Passholder Preview Days:

From May 6-20, 2021, is Knott’s Berry Farm Season Passholder Preview Days. It means they are only allowing Season Passholders with a valid theme park reservation inside the gates until May 21, 2021.

Make A Park Reservation:

It is not enough to simply have a valid park ticket or Season Pass to get in the gate. You also must make a reservation for the day(s) that you would like to visit. Make your reservation at the Knott’s Berry Farm website.

Should you get a Season Pass Right Now?

Normally, Knott’s Season Passes are valid from January to the following January. However, since last year’s season was interrupted and ruined by the closure, the season has been extended. Those who had a valid Season Pass in March 2020 when the park closed, as well as anyone who purchases a Season Pass before May 5, 2021, will get to use their passes until May 2022 – or June 2022 for out-of-state pass holders). Yes, get a Season Pass if you plan to visit the park more than once this year.

Reactivate your Season Pass:

If you have not already, you will need to re-activate your Season Pass by logging into your Knott’s Berry Farm account and following the instructions listed there to re-activate.

Should you stay at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel?

We love the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel. Overall, it’ll usually save you some money and add to your experience, and if you would like to travel a few minutes away to Disneyland, they have a free shuttle for that. Saving you double the parking and travelling fees. The hotel is also beautiful; we love it. There are reasonably priced places to stay nearby otherwise, but we believe you can’t really go wrong with the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel.

Attraction Closures:

The only things scheduled to be closed for refurbishment at this time are the Huff and Puff and the Stagecoach.

Knott’s May 2021 Tips

  • Food/Drinks are not allowed to be brought inside (except two sealed water bottles). So do not plan to bring your own food inside to avoid wasting your time and money. Instead, eat before/after/during breaks, or save your money to purchase food in the park.
  • Discounts: For discounts on tickets, hotels, and more, book through this link.
  • Dress for the weather: It will be pretty nice in Buena Park this month. The highest temperatures will be around 75-85 degrees and the lowest temperatures should range from around 55-65 degrees. We recommend packing a light jacket to wear while visiting the park. You could also bring a bag large enough to fit all the jackets, in case it gets too hot.
