The state of Florida has officially given the green light to SeaWorld! SeaWorld Orlando is reopening on June 10, 2020. Here is what we know so far.

SeaWorld Orlando Reopening

We are excited to announce that all three SeaWorld parks in Florida will be opening again on June 10, 2020; that means SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove will be allowing guests inside on June 10. Busch Gardens Tampa, also owned by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, is hoping to get approval for the same opening date.

What To Expect

Face coverings and temperature checks will be required before entering, as recommended by the Center for Disease Control. The only exception to this is that children under age 2 do not have to wear face masks. Physical distancing will be enforced with markers on the ground showing guests where to walk, stand, sit, etc. to promote health and safety. Single rider lines will be eliminated for now.

Employees will be spending the next couple of weeks in extensive training for more intense and frequent cleaning procedures. Plexiglass is being installed in high-traffic areas. Guests are encouraged to avoid paying for anything with cash and instead pay with a card. Guests will also have hand sanitizing stations for use in high-traffic areas. All open animal exhibits and shows will have social distancing markers as well. If this is not plausible for one attraction, that attraction will not be operating yet.

SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment ask for respect and patience during this time.
