Knott’s “Taste of Calico” event was such a hit that they are now expanding it into “Taste of Knott’s” Outdoor Food Event. Here is what we know.

“Taste of Knott’s” Event

Yes, the theme park itself is still closed so you won’t be able to ride any rides. However, you can still visit several sections of the park if you attend the new “Taste of Knott’s” event. It is an expansion of the new “Taste of Calico” event in Ghost Town at the park. Just like Taste of Calico, guests will get to walk around and enjoy one-of-a-kind foods, unique beverages, and merchandise. This time, guests will get to venture around more than just Knott’s Ghost Town. Guests will now get to wander around Ghost Town, as well as Fiesta Village and the Boardwalk areas of the park.

There will be over 35 food and drink items to choose from. The most notable new additions will include Mexican-inspired cuisine, Knott’s famous BBQ foods, and other classic Knott’s favourites. There will also be 14 artisan booths open in addition to select retail stores with limited-time merchandise.

The event is scheduled for Fridays-Sundays starting August 21 until September 13. Friday and Saturday hours are 12 pm-9 pm. Sunday hours are 12 pm-8 pm.

A “Tasting Card” is required for entry and participation. That means even season pass holders will need to purchase a Tasting Card to get in. However, 2020 season pass holders do receive a 10% discount. Regular tasting cards are for ages 12 and up, include 5 tastings, and cost $30 each. Junior Tasting Cards are for ages 3 to 11, include 3 tastings, and cost $15. Children 2 and under are free with the admission of an adult. You are limited to one card, per person, per entrance.

To further ensure safety, guest capacity is seriously limited so tickets will sell out fast. So if you would like to attend, purchase your tasting cards here as soon as possible!
