With the COVID-19 pandemic, you may still be stuck at home. Don’t worry! We made a list of the best extinct Disneyland attractions to experience online!

Maybe you are feeling nostalgic and miss some of your favourite attractions of old, or maybe you want to learn what these rides were really like. Either way, this list is the perfect way to get your mind off things while you sit at home.

PeopleMover

While the PeopleMover still runs at the Magic Kingdom, Disneyland’s version is long gone. We doubt you can find a Disney fan who does not wish this ride would return to the park. Maybe it will, maybe it will not. But for now, here is the best video of the PeopleMover that we could find.

Original Submarine Voyage

Long before Finding Nemo, there was another submarine voyage at Disneyland. This one included a sea serpent, real mermaids, and the Lost City of Atlantis!

Disneyland Submarine Voyage (start at 1:10 for the ride)

Skyway

The Skyway buckets were pretty cool. Guests got to go from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland (and vice versa) in the sky! Unfortunately, these were removed. However, here is the best POV video we could find online of the Disneyland Skyway.

Country Bear Jamboree

This is another example of an attraction that still exists in Disney World, but not at Disneyland anymore. The Country Bear Jamboree at Disneyland was the original of the two. It was removed in the early 2000s to make room for a Winnie the Pooh-themed ride. Enjoy it here!

Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland

Unfortunately, we could not find a full POV video of the entire attraction anywhere. However, we did not feel it right to exclude it from our list. So, here is an (almost) full POV video of Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland.

Tower of Terror

Heading over to Disney’s California Adventure, here is one extinct attraction that still stings. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror still runs at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we miss our West Coast version, too. Luckily for us, we still have this great video of it!

California Screamin’

This one stings a bit too, but not as much as the item mentioned above. Let’s take a virtual ride on California Screamin’. We love the music, the thrill, and the tribute to the wooden roller coasters of yesteryear.

Superstar Limo…

Okay, we know that this attraction is not missed. In fact, it is kind of a joke these days. However, you still might want to see it for yourself. Here is a really good video of the full experience.

A Bug’s Land and It’s Tough to Be A Bug

A Bug’s Land has not been gone for long, and yet, we miss a lot. Take this peaceful nighttime tour of the area to bring back old memories. And maybe catch “It’s Tough To Be A Bug” while you are at it.
