Disney has shared some very overdue EPCOT news: the CommuniCore Plaza and Hall will finally open this summer. Guests can enter this area from 10th June 2024 – this marks significant progress in the park’s multi-year transformation.

The CommuniCore space is located in World Celebration near Spaceship Earth. It features both indoor and outdoor festival hubs and exhibition spaces.

Last month we brought you the latest construction update on the CommuniCore area after its opening date was pushed back from December 2023. Since then, eagle-eyed fans have spotted that this area is almost ready to go, with the CommuniCore Hall’s tiling near completion.

An Encanto Stage Show

The new area of EPCOT will debut with a new show ¡Celebración Encanto!, which will run multiple times throughout the day and allow guests to join Mirabel and Bruno in an interactive sing-along.

The show will run between 10th June and 6th September, 2024, and will be the first of many themed showcases expected to hit the CommuniCore stage.
