If you’re not already itching to book a trip, these images of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point might just influence you.
Disney Cruise Line’s brand-new tropical retreat on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas will open in June 2024, and the Walt Disney Imagineers are hard at work making sure everything is idyllic (and dare we say it – magical) ahead of the grand reveal.
First Look at Disney Lookout Cay
The Mabrika Cove Cabanas are the standout feature of the new port. Imagineers have worked with local artists to create colourful cabanas that are made to resemble shells dotted on the white sand.
These cabanas will be available for guests to relax and unwind along the stunning coastline and will be the first sight guests see on approach to Disney Lookout Cay.
As well as this, Walt Disney Imagineers have designed the True-True BBQ restaurant to blend in perfectly with the exotic surroundings. This equally shell-like pavilion will serve up an epic lunch with sand dune views as a beautiful backdrop.
The entire island will be filled with art created by Eleuthera’s local talent with the pavilion and cabanas decorated in coral, seashells, fish, and flowers.
Tempted to book a trip? There's still some availability for Lookout Cay on the Disney Cruise Line website – happy cruising!
