More details have been shared about the new DVC tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. The Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is projected to open on 17th December 2024.

Rooms will take inspiration from the natural elements, with original artwork featuring earth, water, wind, and sky. Each of the rooms will feature custom decor inspired by Moana, with huge murals featuring nods to the characters. As symbols of freedom and protection, Manta Ray motifs will also be a predominant feature throughout the new tower.

DVC Island Tower Room Types

The 10-story tower will feature numerous room types, sleeping between two and nine guests.

Studios for Two – Small yet spacious, these rooms feature everything you need for a comfortable stay. These studios will take inspiration from the stars and sky, with plenty of celestial references throughout.

Studios for Families of Four – Paying homage to flora and fauna of the Polynesian Islands, these rooms will feature a cosy green seating area and kitchenette with a dishwasher.

One- & Two-Bedroom Villas for the Entire Family – Sleeping five or nine people, these water- and earth-inspired villas are the epitome of luxury. Villas feature a full-size kitchen, dining area, and living space, plus an outdoor patio.

Two-Bedroom Penthouse Villas – Island Tower will also feature a landmark new DVC accommodation type. These two-bedroom villas will sleep up to eight people and boast epic views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom from the large balcony.

Disney shared the below video of the new DVC rooms, including close-ups of artwork and decor. Eagle-eyed viewers will also be able to spot some of the impressive balcony views mentioned above.
