News just in – Soarin’ Around the World is returning to Walt Disney World on 28th February, 2024, after a brief hiatus at EPCOT.

Soarin’ Over California replaced Soarin’ Around the World at Disney World back in September as part of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebrations. Since then, guests have been guessing as to how long the experience would last, and Disney has finally answered all our questions.

Soarin' One Last Time

Guests will be able to take a final flight on Soarin’ Over California on 27th February (well, at EPCOT anyway) before the attraction switches back to Soarin’ Around the World. Say goodbye to Yosemite and those delicious-smelling orange groves, and get ready to spot the Great Wall of China and the Eiffel Tower on the big screen once more.

Soarin’ is a flight motion simulator with various iterations in Disney parks around the world. Soarin' Over California is the original version of the attraction, which first opened in 2001 along with the rest of Disney California Adventure.

Since then, Walt Disney World, Shanghai Disneyland, and Tokyo DisneySea have each opened an iteration of the cult-favorite ride.
