In a significant transformation, Thorpe Park Resort is set to launch Big Easy Boulevard in Spring 2024, replacing the recently closed Angry Birds Land. This vibrant new area, inspired by the lively spirit of New Orleans, was officially unveiled today via Thorpe Parks socials through captivating concept art and renderings.

Big Easy Boulevard promises an immersive experience that reflects the casual, joyous atmosphere of New Orleans. The area will feature exhilarating attractions like the reimagined Detonator drop tower, now dubbed Freedom Firework Co and the classic Dodgems bumper cars. Additional attractions include a 4D Cinema for a multi-sensory film experience and CandyPips SweetEasy a haven for sweet lovers.

Designed to infuse the excitement of New Orleans and Mardi Gras into the park, The transformation represents a strategic move to blend Big Easy Boulevard seamlessly with adjacent themed areas like Amity Cove, Amity Speedway, and Nemesis Inferno’s tropical volcano-themed area. The area's design and attractions aim to embody the relaxed, vibrant culture synonymous with the Big Easy - New Orleans.

Thorpe Park has stated that:

"Big Easy Boulevard has been meticulously crafted to ensure a seamless transition between surrounding areas, capturing the essence of New Orleans. The term ‘Big Easy’ perfectly encapsulates the city's laid-back vibe, rich culture, and the fluidity of its music and lifestyle."

With this new development, Thorpe Park sets new benchmarks in theme park innovation, bringing a unique cultural experience to England. Big Easy Boulevard is not just an addition to the park's attractions; it's an invitation to a world of joy, culture, and unforgettable experiences.
