Yo Ho! Disney has unveiled the latest ship in its fleet, the Disney Destiny.

This announcement follows Disney’s commitment to expand its cruise line and comes just days after the company shared new images of a tropical new destination: Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The keel laying ceremony for Disney Destiny was held on the 20th March at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenberg, Germany, ahead of its estimated delivery in 2025. 

Heroes and Villains Theme

The Disney Destiny will have a unique Heroes and Villains theme. Disney Cruise Line has teamed up with Walt Disney Imagineering to create an exciting new experience that ties in light and dark motifs. The ship’s spaces and entertainment will feature many of Disney’s much-loved stories, including Hercules, The Lion King, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

Minnie Mouse features on the ship’s emblem, which has been revealed in a brand-new filigree artwork for the bow of the ship. Dressed in her adorable hero ensemble, she’ll lead guests on a magical quest on the high seas.
